3rd ANNUAL LOWCOUNTRY HOEDOWN NEXT WEEKEND

Posted in Sales & Events with tags , , , , , , , , on October 30, 2014 by Lowcountry Boil

It’s that time once again to suit up in your finest plaid and cowboy boots for the 3rd annual Lowcountry Hoedown presented by Bottles Beverage Superstore. This all-inclusive shindig returns to Charleston Visitor Center Bus Shed next weekend on Saturday, November 8 from 7-11pm. Dubbed a “Celebration of Southern Fare & Libations…Set to a Fiddle”, an impressive line-up of restaurants, distilleries, breweries, and bands will be on-site serving up the best of the South.

486507_403831886330943_2111300636_nSip & swig on bourbon, moonshine, whiskey cocktails, and craft brews from two dozen Southern distilleries & breweries including Charleston’s own Holy City Brewing and Striped Pig Distillery. Nibble and nosh on BBQ & tasty Southern treats from a dozen restaurants and artisan food vendors. Be sure to cast your vote for Fan Favorite Eat & Drink, as the coveted squirrel awards are prized at the end of the night to one lucky restaurant and distillery or brewery.

Of course, no Hoedown is complete without dancing, so plan to get down to the funky rhythms of two fantastic bluegrass bands: Seven Handle Circus from Atlanta, GA (returning from 2013, after popular demand!) and The Dunder Chiefs from Charleston, SC.

As we like to say if it’s from South of the Mason-Dixon Line and East of the Mississippi, it’s fit for this Hoedown. So suit up in your best Hoedown attire and prepare for a boot stompin’ good time.

Tickets can be purchased at Bottles Beverage Superstore (610 Coleman Blvd, Mt Pleasant) or online at www.lowcountryhoedown.com. Tickets are $50 in advance, $65 at the door (if available), and include sampling from all participating vendors and live entertainment. A portion of the proceeds from this event benefit Lowcountry Food Bank, whose mission is to lead the fight against hunger in our area. Please support them and families in need this season.
