New Appetizer: Shrimp and Calamari Bruschetta

High Thyme Cuisine and Cocktails has made changes to its Fall menu by serving full dinner service on Tuesdays in place of Tapas only. Guests will not miss the tapas as many have been added to the dinner menu as appetizer options. A new item to dinner entrees is a Pan Seared Mahi Mahi with Tomato Spinach Risotto. Additionally, on Saturdays, High Thyme will open at 11am and continue serving through 10:30pm.

“While our regulars love Tapas Tuesdays, we had many customers that also wanted to choose from the dinner entrees,” said owner Kenny Jones. “We feel this new updated menu will please everyone.”

1) Grilled ribeye with pan fried fingerling potatoes & tarragon dijon cream finished with smoked sea salt
2) Rack of lamb with butternut risotto, brussel sprouts & port demi glace
3) Pan seared grouper with gnocchi, olives, spinach & orange chili butter

1) Chocolate mascarpone mousse

3rd Annual Bubbly & Brew Benefits My Sister’s House

My Sister’s House presents the 3rd Annual Bubbly & Brew on Thursday, September 29th from 6-10pm at scenic Harborside East in Mount Pleasant. This celebrated event will offer tasty food donated from local restaurants including Home Team BBQ, High Thyme, Sticky Fingers, The Glass Onion, Raising Cane and Gullah Cuisine as well as champagne, cocktails and beers from local brewers. Additionally, there will be a silent auction with proceeds going to My Sister’s House and live music from party band Love Butter.

Founded in 1980, My Sister’s House, Inc., is a nonprofit organization that provides services, programs and resources to empower domestic violence victims and their children to live free from abuse. The organization operates an emergency temporary shelter at an undisclosed location for up to 36 women and children who flee abusive situations in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties.

High Thyme Cuisine Now Offering Lunch Service

High Thyme Cuisine and Cocktails is pleased to announce they are now serving lunch Thursday through Saturday from 11:30am-2:30pm. Already well-known for its superior Sunday Brunch, High Thyme now offers fresh and easily accessible meals during the week that is different for the surrounding restaurants yet fits its upscale casual personality. Lunch menu items are priced $6-$12 and popular selections include Grilled Lamb Salad with onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, pita & yogurt dressing, Shrimp Salad Croissant with lettuce or tomato and Sesame Seared Yellow-Fin Tuna over soba Noodle salad with red chili ginger honey. The convenient Sullivan’s Island location now sets the scene for guests to start with a casual lunch with friends and continue to mingle all day enjoying the best wine list on the island with 25 wines by the glass priced $6-$11.
