The 25th Annual Folly Beach Sea & Sand Festival is coming April 10-11 with a weekend full of family-friendly events for this milestone anniversary. The Sea & Sand Festival is Folly Beach’s largest, longest-running and most well-attended festival and features live music on two stages, a kids activity zone with jump castles, carnival games, face-painting and more, silent auction, local art and food vendors, a full day street party, a pageant, a 5K run/walk/skate and more.
Friday, April 10
The festival kicks off at 7:30 p.m. with the 2nd Annual Miss Sea & Sand Pageant at Folly River Park. Winners in various age groups will have the opportunity to wear their crowns and sashes during the Sea & Sand Festival Street Party.
Saturday, April 11
The festival continues with the 5th Annual Coffin Island 5k Run/Walk/Skate at 8:30 a.m. As always, participants in the 5k are encouraged to dress in their best pirate costumes!
Folly Beach’s main street, Center Street, will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning around 8 a.m. as event-goers turn out by the thousands to enjoy the Street Party. The festival will feature over 75 local food and art vendors, a text-to-bid silent auction, jump castles, face painting, carnival games, and live music by several artists including Dangermuffin, Cary Hudson & Guilt Ridden Troubadour, Kevin West Band, the Shakin’ Martinis, the Folly Beach Bluegrass Society, and Bringers of the Dawn.
The 25th Annual Sea & Sand Festival is a Folly Association of Business (FAB) event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit various Folly Beach community projects chosen by FAB.
