Posted in Sales & Events with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 10, 2013 by Lowcountry Boil

Awendaw Green is proud to present a special Acoustic Storyteller Barn Jam featuring Zach Deputy on Thursday, June 13th at 4853 Highway 17 North. Guests will enjoy music of the man who helped Awendaw Green originally start the Barn Jams in their intimate outdoor listening room setting under the grand oaks at the Sewee Outpost. With doors opening at 7pm and show starting at 8pm, tickets are $10 in advance through eTix or $12 at door. $50 VIP tickets are also available and include a round of Disc Golf with Zach.

Zach Deputy is an island-infused drum and bass gospel ninja soul. On his latest release Another Day, Zach Deputy demonstrates his extraordinary ability to perform and record in multiple contexts and conveys the sensibilities of a mature singer/songwriter. Reflective and introspective, it provides a glimpse at the soul of an artist and the depth of a songwriter. Full of hope and anticipation of the promise of Another Day, a new day, it is a pivotal point in the career of a touring musician heretofore known as a master of live looping and a staple in the grass-roots club and festival circuit.

A hidden gem up Hwy 17 North, Awendaw Green may just be the coolest music venue in the lowcountry. A low-key and friendly environment with bonfires, food, friends, networking, and the concerts are all centered around  an old barn with a professional sound technician and equipment. Scenic grounds, a relaxed atmosphere and state of the art professional venue make Awendaw Green the place to spread newly created music to fans both old and new through their ever expanding music loving fan base.
