Put on your dancing boots and bring your appetite for the 4th annual Lowcountry Hoedown on Saturday, November 7. From 7pm-11pm, this all-inclusive event will feature sampling from dozens of Southern distilleries, craft breweries, restaurants, and live bluegrass. The full festival line-up is complete, and it will not disappoint.
Nibble and nosh on BBQ and tasty Southern treats from over a dozen restaurants including The Southerly, Captain Blacks BBQ, The Barbeque Joint, The Green Goat, Graze, The Kitchen, Bohemian Bull, Angel Oak Restaurant, Ellis Creek Fish Camp, Sticky Fingers, Dickey’s, Mason Jar by Fatboys, and Smoke BBQ. Sweet treats will be on hand from SnoBar, Olde Colony Bakery, Moon Pie, and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
Sip & swig on bourbon, moonshine, and whiskey cocktails from over twenty distilleries, including George Dickel, Crown Royal, Bulleit, Larceny, Evan Williams, Elijah Craig, Georgia Moon, Cold Spell, Sweet Carolina Whiskey, Carolina Moon Distillery, Pennington’s, Rebel Yell, Serpent’s Bite, Dark Corner, William Wolf, Bird Dog Whiskey, Firefly Moonshine, Palmetto Distillery, Jack Daniels, Woodford Reserve and Bonnie Rose. Of course, no Hoedown is complete without dancing, so plan to get down to the funky rhythms of two fantastic bluegrass bands, WhiteWater Ramble and Brushfire Stankgrass. The entertainment continues with the Larceny Mechanical Bull, Elan Midtown Cowboy Hat Toss, and the Photo Booth. And you won’t miss a bit of the college football games, as it will be on TV at the festival. Be sure to cast your vote for Fan Favorite Awards, as the coveted taxidermy squirrels are prized at the end of the night to the best cocktail, best brew, and best eat.
Advanced tickets can be purchased online for $50, and $65 (if available) the day of. Tickets include sampling from all participating vendors, live entertainment and much more. Attendees must be 21 years or older. Lowcountry Hoedown benefits Lowcountry AIDS Services, the only organization in the greater Charleston area whose sole purpose deals with the entire effect of HIV and AIDS.
