Charleston Girl Perfume: The Perfect Gift This Valentine’s Day

Just in time for Valentine’s Day is the recent launch of Charleston Girl Perfume. Charleston Girl eau de parfum is a sultry, enticing fragrance that opens with a burst of sparkling-fruity top-notes, weaves a delicate and sensuous floral middle and finishes with a soft, amber and sandalwood dry-down. While including ingredients native to Charleston, this luminous fragrance captures the spirit of a true southern belle. With its chic red & white packaging and beautiful scent, Charleston Girl is the perfect pick for her this Valentine’s Day.

Former journalist and Charleston native Kelly Gaskins always had aspirations to branch out and start her own business.  Gaskins played a major role in designing the fragrance. She teamed with perfume manufacturer Alpha Aromatics to make the vision of her scent a reality. “I wanted to create a scent that would appeal to the refined tastes of every Charleston girl and bring out the fun, fearless southern belle in every woman,” said Gaskins. “It was fascinating to learn that you can layer so many different scents to create a beautiful end result.” The young entrepreneur even designed the bottle packaging. The simple and elegant bottle design is inspired by the graceful and natural beauty that distinguishes Charleston girls. Adorning the neck of the bottle is a stylish red bow that serves as a subtle and sexy accessory. The moniker written in beautiful cursive on the bottle adds a touch of sophistication and charm.

The perfume is inspired by the unique and unforgettable southern women of Charleston. “If you ask anyone that visits our city about the women here, they will tell you that Charleston girls are naturally smart, sexy and sophisticated,” said Gaskins. “Charleston girls possess an elegance and charisma that never seems to age.  We exude a confidence and charisma that lights up any room.”
The 1.7oz bottle retails for $39.99 at www.CharlestonGirlPerfume.com and in select boutiques.

On an enhanced site, Charleston’s Eclectic Interior Design Group has recreated its creative design blog. The updated site is easier to navigate and has an overall look and feel that is more in line with the company’s personality and design aesthetic. The inventive blog offers segments that include Decorganizing (decor + organizing which illustrates how form and function meet by organizing your home in an attractive manor), Designer Peeves (design pet peeves), Pro or Con? (topics where readers and other designers discuss), This Week I… (the day to day life of an interior designer) and Before & After (inspiring before and after photos of unique projects). Additionally, the Eclectic Finds site was also relaunched featuring one-of-a-kind finds and to-the-trade items including fabrics, furniture and accessories plus some custom creations that were designed with local artisans.

“On my blog and online shop, I share with my readers and clients quality designs, useful information and unique products that they might not normally have access to discovering,” says interior designer Sidney Wagner. “I get inspiration in various ways by scouring design magazines, blogs, books, shops and catalogs. Through researching new products and studying industry trends, I showcase functional yet well designed spaces.”

After years of extensive work in the industry, Sidney Wagner developed Eclectic Interior Design Group, a Charleston, SC full-service interior design firm specializing in both residential and commercial spaces. Sidney’s passion for design drives her to continually study market trends, research new products and search for unique pieces to complete her custom interiors. Sidney’s organization, creativity and attention to detail can be seen in every one of her designs, regardless of how grand or small the project may be. She named her company “eclectic” as it can be defined as “pulling elements from a variety of sources”. Eclectic Interior Design Group embraces this philosophy by blending pieces from various styles and periods to create beautiful and unique spaces that aptly reflect their clients’ personalities.
