SweetWater Craft Beer Boat Cruise With Live Music From Mama’s Love

Posted in Sales & Events with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on August 22, 2012 by Lowcountry Boil

Start the Labor Day weekend off right on Friday, August 31st with a two hour harbor cruise dedicated to SweetWater brews and rockin’ tunes. Climb aboard the three deck Carolina Queen boat at 6:30 PM and by 7 PM you’ll be departing to enjoy views of the sunset over the Charleston Harbor. Then the party will really kick up with live music from Athens, Georgia band Mama’s Love and three bars all featuring $3 bottles of Sweetwater’s craft brews of 420, Motor Boat and Blue. Delicious food from Roti Rolls will also be available for purchase. The fun doesn’t stop until the boat docks back at 9 PM. SweetWater Craft Beer Boat Cruise is brought to you by Lee Distributors, SweetWater Brewing Company, Follywood Productions, 105.5 The Bridge and Charleston City Paper.

Mama’s Love is an American Rock band formed in Athens, Ga. in 2007.  Like the town where the band resides, the sound is progressive with hints of classic tones.  Live energetic shows, definitive song craftsmanship, and a genre-defying sound have formed the buzz that follows the Mama’s Love experience.  They maintain a strong sense of tradition in classic American music, while staying progressive with their improvisational segments and song structures. Catchy melodies, lyrical hooks, and layered harmonies are supported by a tight rhythmic foundation with a classic rock, funk, soul, and americana flavor, harvesting their songs from the roots of time.

The Craft Beer Boat Cruise on the Carolina Belle is one of the most unique social experiences Charleston has to offer. Featuring a different brewery and touring band every month, and pairing that with some of the best local food, it’s like a pub crawl. Only it’s better, since it’s on a cruise ship and you get more bang for your buck. If you can’t make this craft beer cruise, there are more on the horizon. Click the links below for more details.
