11th Annual SOS Memorial Day Weekend Party

10941823_858890834169126_7345558227080642176_nShare Our Suzy Presents the 11th Annual Memorial Day Weekend Party with Indecision, Five Way Friday and The Archetypes  on Saturday, May 23rd at 5:00pm – 10:30pm at The Grove at Patriot’s Point. 100% of net proceeds for this event will directly benefit breast cancer patients in South Carolina. Tickets are just $45 through Friday and will go up to $60 on Saturday. Tickets include food, beer and wine.

Music schedule:
5:00 to 6:15PM – Archetypes
6:45 to 8:00PM – 5 Way Friday
8:30 to 10:30PM – Indecision

Share Our Suzy was founded in memory of Suzy McGrane who was diagnosed with breast cancer in her late twenties, while uninsured. SOS helps South Carolina breast cancer patients and their families by providing assistance to ease their journey from diagnosis to recovery. For information please go to

Swig & Swine Anniversary with Free Ribs

Swig & Swine its “swiners” to celebrate with a One Year Anniversary Party on Wednesday, May 27 starting at 11am. The first 100 603844_417795895060081_7466388330156421807_nguests through the doors will receive a free rack of Swig & Swine’s famous ribs. Additionally, guests can enjoy $1 Palmetto Brewery Amber Ales throughout the day, and the first 100 people to order these brews will get to keep the pint glass. The festivities continue when Swig & Swine throws a Pig Pickin’ Picnic in their parking lot on Sunday, May 31. Starting at 5pm, guests will enjoy a whole hog roast, a beer truck, food specials, and much more.

Art of Style: Runway for Rachel

11178220_1613700495511358_7355520891963832876_nArt of Style: Runway for Rachel will be held on Wednesday evening, May 20th at 6:00pm at Mitchell Hill Gallery to benefit eight year old, Rachel Darling, in her fight against cancer. The artists of Mitchell Hill and the style expertise of Alexandra Munzel have combined efforts to create an event celebrating art and style. On this evening, Mitchell Hill Gallery will host a fashion show debuting accessories and clothing donated by generous Charleston boutiques and painted by a variety of local artists.

Proceeds from the Art of Style: Runway for Rachel event will benefit Rachel Darling in her fight against cancer. Rachel is a beautiful, bright, and athletic second grader. She was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and will need to receive treatment for the next two-and-a-half years. Rachel will be in the fifth grade before she is able to return to school.

Individual tickets can be purchased for $15 via EventBrite or purchased at the door on the night of. Space is limited and this event may sell out.
