Favorite Isle of Palms, SC Restaurant Transitions to New Name as Cuisine Style Shifts

Guests who have been to Acme Cantina recently have noticed subtle changes to the menu. As Executive Chef Frank Kline started to focus on more locally farmed contemporary cuisine, Acme added Lowcountry to the restaurant’s name. Today, the owners are changing the eatery’s name to Acme Lowcountry Kitchen as they completely re-brand their concept.

“Over the past two years our menu has transformed substantially from Tex-Mex to localize coastal cuisine,” said co-owner Rodger Tully. “We just don’t feel that Cantina is the right descriptive word for our brand anymore.”

Acme Lowcountry Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily with flavor profiles that exemplify fresh local ingredients with a strong presence towards seafood. The restructured lunch and dinner menus combine elements of traditional Lowcountry cuisine with classic fare offered at reasonable prices in a casual beach atmosphere.
