Women Making a Difference is a giving circle, a group of savvy women who band together to increase their giving power and provide grants to local initiatives that seek to enhance quality of life for women and children in Charleston, S.C. Started in 2002 by three women of varying ages and backgrounds, Women Making a Difference strives to build a community of women philanthropists. Membership is open to all women.
Over the past seven years, Women Making a Difference has generated more than $300,000 to fund local grants to local charities.

Join us for the exciting kickoff of the 2010 Membership Drive! We want to have a record turnout this year, so please make plans to attend…and bring a friend! We are headed to local favorite Rue de Jean for a wine and dessert tasting. Special thanks to our speaker, Beverly Hutchison of the Dee Norton Lowcountry Children’s Center (2009 Grant Recipient).
The cost per person is $10, which includes all wine and desserts.
